STERLING, VIRGINIA, UNITED STATES (FEBRUARY 15, 2014) (NBC) - A man's body has was discovered in the landing-gear wheel well of a South African Airways plane on Saturday (February 15) at Washington Dulles International Airport, according to a statement from Metropolitan Airports Authority(MWAA).
The plane was parked in a remote parking area at the time of the discovery when the airport police and firefighters, along with FBI agents and U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials were called to the scene. There was no impact on the airport operation during the investigation, according to the MWAA. |
