A rescue team in eastern China haul a man who had sunk into mud to safety after he was trapped for eight hours. The man, who had wandered out on the mud to collect rubbish to recycle and had been trapped for eight hours and was at risking of sinking further, CCTV reported. The team attempted to haul him out using a rope but had little success, the report said. Rescuers then had to make their over the mud by across a ladder laid out on the field to spread their weight to reach the trapped man, who was at a 20 metre distance from land, according to CCTV. Once they had managed to haul him out, a team of medics rushed him to hospital. |
