Christopher Mintz-Plasse signs on to CBS pilot!

Christopher Mintz-Plasse will be starring in a CBS pilot

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES (VARIOUS DATES) (HOLLYWOODTV) - Actor, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who played McLovin, the fake ID sporting geek in the 2007 hit comedy "Superbad," has signed on to do a CBS pilot called "Friend Me." If the pilot gets picked up this will be Mintz-Plasse's first big TV role, his only other small screen appearance was a cameo on Starz's "Party Down." Mintz-Plasse is expected to play one of two leads on the show, with the other being played by Nicholas Braun from the show "10 Things I Hate About You." Mintz-Plasse and Braun have been cast as 20-something best friends who ditch their hometown of Bloomington, Indiana, for the big lights of Los Angeles, California after being hired by Groupon. Mintz-Plasse and Braun are currently both shooting a comedy for CBS Films entitled, "Get A Job."
