China 4D Light Show in Shanghai
China Central Television (CCTV) - The last rehearsal of a magnificent 4D light show, which will be staged in east China's Shanghai to herald the arrival of 2014, was held early Tuesday morning.
On Shanghai's famous Bund around 02:00, the buildings of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank andS hanghai Customs House were seemingly brought to life, courtesy of some highly creative technical wizardry.The light show, which is an annual event, this year features the cartoon mascot of Shanghai tourism - a character named 'Little Q' - guiding spectators on a journey to tourist landmarks both in Shanghai and around the World.
"It (Little Q) will lead all the spectators present, including those watching on TV, to celebrate the countdown to 2014," said Zhao Lei, general director of Shanghai's New-Year countdown show.
