U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES (DECEMBER 25, 2013) (WHITEHOUSE.GOV) - U.S. President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays in a weekly address on Christmas Day, Wednesday (December 25). They also thanked the U.S. troops and their families for their service and sacrifice, and reminded everyone to visit JoiningForces.gov to find ways to give back to military families this year. Both the President and First Lady said that during this holiday season, Americans should all come together to find ways to support their communities, continue caring for each other and keep working to be the best parents, children, friends, neighbours, and citizens.
This weekly address came a few days earlier for the holiday season. It is usually delivered on Saturdays.
