The fountain on the White House South Lawn is dyed green to commemorate St. Patrick's Day.
WASHINGTON, D.C. UNITED STATES (MARCH 17, 2014) (RESTRICTED POOL) - The White House fountain on the South Lawn was dyed green on Monday (March 17) to mark St. Patrick's Day.
The original south fountain was installed in 1865 and featured classical fish figures, according to the White House Museum.
