Guinness World Records officially declares that an Australian man has the world's largest feet.
Peter Iroga is an intimidating presence on the basketball court.
That's because he's seven foot, four inches tall … and he has the world's biggest feet.
Each measuring in at over 14 inches in length, his feet have walked him into the Guinness Book of World Records … and they're still growing.
Peter Iroga, saying:
"It's something that amazes people, just to see the big foot."Iroga couldn't find shoes that would fit.
Until Foot Power, a medical shoe clinic in Sydney, Australia decided to take on the challenge.
Pedorthist Karl-Heinz Schott says it took about 30 hours to build the size 26 shoes.
Karl-Heinz Schott, Pedorthist, saying:
"They told us over the phone he's a very large foot. We said, okay, a very large foot. A lot of people say they have very large feet. But when we saw him we were very surprised."
And Iroga was not disappointed with the result.
Peter Iroga, saying:
"Ah, it's great, yeah. Looks really nice, yeah."
Iroga's size is due to a tumour in his brain, next to his pituitary gland, which causes continuous body growth.
The Solomon Islands native will soon have an operation in Australia which will stop his growth.
His dream is to be a basketball star and play in Australia's NBA league.
