A homeless man attacks a subway rider in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, then throws her onto the tracks.
PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES (JANUARY 15, 2013) (SEPTA) - A man is in police custody on Friday (January 18) after he allegedly attacked a female subway rider on the platform, then threw her onto the tracks, earlier this week inPhiladelphia.
Local media said William Clark faces assault and robbery charges after surveillance video captured the brutal attack that occurred on Tuesday afternoon (January 15).
Security video shows the man pulling the woman from a bench, assaulting her, then throwing her onto the subway tracks. He took the victim's jacket and cell phone. Clark was arrested on Thursday (January 17), wearing the stolen jacket and carrying the stolen cell phone.
The 23-year-old victim managed to escape with minor bruises and cuts.
