Oscar Pistorius appears in court for the 5th day for trial murder of model and law graduate Reeva Steenkamp.
PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA (MARCH 7, 2014) (REUTERS) - The murder trial of South African Paralympic and Olympic Oscar Pistoriusenters its 5th day, where the first person on the scene after the fatal shooting neighbour Johan Stipp is expected to continue with his testimony.
Pistorius arrived at the North Gauteng High Court on Friday (March 07) in rainyPretoria shortly before 0730GMT.Day four of the Oscar Pistorius murder trial revealed testimony from one of the first people on the scene.
Stipp told the court Pistorius was begging him to save his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp
The South African Paralympic and Olympic star said he mistakenly shot Steenkamp, thinking she was an intruder.
Stipp told the court that as they waited for the ambulance, he feared Pistorius would take his own life.
If found guilty of intentional murder, Pistorius is likely to spend at least 25 years behind bars.
