Police arrest four people related to the daring helicopter prison escape in Quebec, Canada.
CHERTSEY, QUEBEC, CANADA (MARCH 17, 2013) (CBC) - Police arrested four men, including the two Quebec inmates who escaped from jail by helicopter, on Sunday (March 17).
The two prisoners made a daring daylight escape from the Saint-Jerome jail climbing up a rope into a hovering helicopter.The escape however was short lived.
Six hours after the jailbreak police arrested one of the prisoners Benjamin Hudon-Barbeau and two other suspects.
Shortly after police located and detained the second escapee Danny Provencal.
The four men will appear in court on Monday (March 18) to face charges.
There have been complaints of overcrowding and reduced staff on weekends in this Quebec prison, located some 60 kilometers (37 miles) northwest of Montreal.
