World leaders and celebrities join Mandela family for funeral in ancestral home of Qunu.
QUNU, SOUTH AFRICA (DECEMBER 15, 2013) (POOL) - Heroes of the anti-apartheid movement, world leaders, royalty and celebrities joined the Mandela family clan on Sunday (December 15) to mourn the death of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
Archbishop Desmond Tutu attended the service, despite an earlier mix-up when he thought he had not been invited.Mandela's two daughters Zindzi and Makaziwe were among the mourners, led by South African President Jacob Zuma, who sat between Mandela's former wife Winnie Mandela and his widow,Graca Machel.
Britain's Prince Charles represented the Queen and Prince Albert of Monaco was spotted in the crowd.
Among the celebrities in attendance were U.S. talk show star, Oprah Winfrey, British tycoon Richard Branson and British actor Idris Elba, who plays Mandela in the recent biopic "Mandela: The Long Walk To Freedom."
