Wild life officials continue to investigate the mysterious deaths of hundreds of black birds in several cities across the U.S.
BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA, UNITED STATES (JANUARY 4, 2011) NBC - Hundreds of dead black birds and starlings were discovered in Louisiana on Tuesday (January 4).
Wild life officials canvassed neighborhoods collecting the birds that lay scattered across roads and in back yards.Samples will be taken and sent to the University of Georgia and the National Wildlife Health Center in Wisconsin to determine what may have caused their deaths.
In Kentucky, dozens of dead birds were found as well.
Biologists have not determined what may have caused the birds to die.
Last Friday in Arkansas, some three thousand birds were found dead.
