Four people killed, four wounded in deadly Texas shootings.
DESOTO, TEXAS, UNITED STATES (AUGUST 8, 2013) (NBC) - Four people were killed and four injured late Wednesday (August 7) in two separate but related shootings in the Dallas area, according to local media reports.
A Dallas police spokesman said the first shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. local at a house in Dallas but by the time officers arrived on the scene the suspect had already fled. Dallas police found four gunshot victims, two of which were deceased.The suspect then headed south to DeSoto police officials told local media. Law enforcement officials arrived at the scene in DeSoto to find another four people had been shot with two of which were deceased.
A male suspect has been taken into custody by the DeSoto police. FBI and ATF agents are on the scene in DeSoto assisting with the investigation.
