Japanese Banking Minister, Tadahiro Matsushita is found dead at his home in a suspected suicide.
TOKYO, JAPAN (FILE - JUNE, 2012) (REUTERS) - Japan's banking minister Tadahiro Matsushita has died, Japanese media reported on Monday (September 10).
Matsushita, 73, was found dead at his home in Tokyo, NHK said, citing Tokyo police.
NHK and other media quoted police as saying Matsushita may have killed himself.
Matsushita was a former central government bureaucrat before being elected to the lower house in 1993. He had been serving as minister for postal reform and financial services since June of this year.
