Former governor and vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin releases her newest book to waiting supporters in Pheonix, Arizona
USA-SARAH PALIN BOO - Fans wait in line for a moment with former governor of Alaska and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin.
She launched her latest book to crowds of supporters in Phoenix Arizona on Wednesday.
Purchasers lined up as early as 1 a.m. to buy copies of the new book, "America by Heart: Reflections on Family, Faith and Flag" and to have it signed by the politician herself.
In the book Palin touches on a range of topics including health care, federal taxes and the President, calling herself not a Republican but a "commonsense constitutional conservative."
Palin made no mention of whether she will run for president in 2012 but the book launch gave many excited fans an opportunity to see her in person and to express their support.
JAMES GILMORE, SAYING:
"Phenomenal! She's just exciting to meet. You can tell positive energy, honesty. I mean it just spills out of her in that. She needs to be the next president in 2012. Oh my God. Anything I can do to help her out."
Palin shook hands and engaged with her supporters as they came to the table.
BECKY RAYHORN, SAYING:
"Absolutely beautiful. She is just exactly like you see on TV. She's a real person. She's asking everybody's name, she's shaking your hand. I mean ... she talks to you and we had a conversation. She's having a conversation with every single person up there."
Sarah Palin's book tour is nine days long and will stop in 16 locations around the U.S..
