Two British university students are found shot dead at a Sarasota, Florida house. A 16-year-old is charged with the murders.
SARASOTA, FLORIDA, UNITED STATES (APRIL 18, 2011) NBC - Two British university students were found shot dead in Sarasota, Florida late Saturday night (April 16).
The victims were identified as 25-year-old James Cooper and 24-year-old James Kouzaris. Both Englishmen were attending class in the area.
When police were called to the Newtown area of the city, they found one of the men laying in the street. A second victim was found on the ground in a nearby yard.
Police are not releasing the name of the 16-year-old suspect, or a possible motive for the murders. The teen has been charged with both murders.
The killings were the second fatal shooting in the neighborhood this year.
