A woman alleged to be Muammar Gaddafi's nurse and close confidante flees Libya, arrives back in her native Ukraine.
KIEV, UKRAINE (FEBRUARY 27, 2011) CHANNEL 5 UKRAINE - Ukrainian television on Sunday (February 27) showed pictures allegedly of Galina Kolotnitska, said to be a nurse and close confidante to Muammar Gaddafi, arriving at Kiev's Borispol Airport after being evacuated from Libya.
Kolotnitska, 38, reportedly travelled back to Ukraine on a transport plane along with other evacuees from Libya. Ukrainian TV pictures showed her being greeted by a woung woman, reportedly her daughter Tatyana, as she came through the arrivals gate into the airport terminal.
Gaddafi's forces have been trying for days to push back a revolt that has won over large parts of the military, ended his control over eastern Libya and is holding the government at bay in western cities near the capital Tripoli.
