The hearing, required under Norwegian law to keep a suspect in prison before trial, was Breivik's fifth but it was the first time he allowed TV cameras and photographers to take pictures of him before the start of the hearing.

OSLO, NORWAY (FEBRUARY 6, 2012)(REUTERS) - Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik gave permission to be filmed for the first time when he appeared at a remand hearing in Oslo on Monday (February 6).
A larger number of relatives and survivors were in court than at previous hearings.
In a manifesto posted on the internet shortly before his killing spree on July 22, Breivik declared he wanted to protect Norway from what he said was the threat of Muslim immigration.
Breivik has been kept in solitary confinement since July 22 and his trial is scheduled to start on April 16.
