KHAN YOUNIS, GAZA (MARCH 10, 2012) (REUTERS) - Israel killed four Gaza militants on Saturday (March 10) as violence sparked by the death of a militant leader a day earlier escalated with gunmen firing more than 90 rockets at Israel, injuring four people, Israeli and Palestinian officials said.
Two Palestinians die after an Israeli air strike targets men on a motorcycle in Khan Younis.
In the latest attack, a gunman was killed on a motorcycle and another was critically wounded and later died of his injuries, medics said.
At the site of the attack, crowds found the remains of the vehicle stained with blood.
Family members and friends later gathered at al-Naser hospital where both bodies were taken.
Two other militants from the Islamic Jihad group were killed in predawn strikes on Saturday, officials in Gaza said.
In all Israel, has killed 14 militants in aerial strikes launched since Friday (March 9), Hamas medics said.
