Bin Laden's entry on the FBI's Most Wanted Criminal's list has been updated. The word "deceased" has been added to the Al Qaeda leader's entry on the list.
He was killed in a U.S.-led operation involving helicopters and ground forces in Pakistan on Sunday (May 2) ending a nearly 10-year worldwide hunt for the mastermind ofthe Sept. 11 attacks.

President Barack Obama made the announcement in a , late-night White House speech. Leaders worldwide praised the killing as a dramatic success in the war against al Qaeda, although many analysts cautioned it was too soon to say bin Laden's death would mark a turning point in the battle against a highly fractured network of militants.
