USA-DUST STORM - A massive dust storm shut down a major highway in Washington State. Residents of the northwestern state battled near-zero visibility conditions on Sunday after a powerful dust storm swept through the area.
The dense haze made it impossible to drive, forcing transportation officials to temporarily shut down parts of the highway.
Several vehicles were involved in a pileup and state troopers reported one person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The highway was reopened after about five hours.
